Research - Stardoll Clubs

          I have to admit, I like to visit the stardoll clubs and I sometimes troll the popular stardoll clubs. Original Club and Dove Club. Let me explain to you the atmosphere of each club. After studying the actions of Dove Club ; nicknamed DC, I've learned a lot about pre - teenagers on the Internet. Original Club ; OC, has a wider range of people, with people from all around the world and the different age groups. There are those who are still in their stage of adolescence and the more queer (not as in LGBTQ) age group, the pedophiles - yes they are on stardoll.
          Let's treat my experiment as if it was a well conducted scientific experiment. The Problem: What is the behavior of club members on stardoll? The Hypothesis: Since we have people who act differently in real life, then we will have the same result in the stardoll clubs. Materials: stardoll account, access to one or more of the clubs; Dove Club and Original Club. Procedure: Simply observe the behavior of the members. Visit the external links that the club members post. Note their behavior, imitate their behavior and see where it has brought you in the club.
          As I conducted my experiment I realized some very shocking things. Some of these club members trust each other too much. People give out each other's real cell phone numbers. Not they're iPod text - free numbers, they release their legit phone numbers. People post pictures of their families. These 8-18 aged girls/guys are on camera with each other on TinyChats. Some of them even strip in front of each other.
          Another trend in my analyzation is DailyBooths, which I found especially popular in DC. (In case you didn't know, DailyBooth is a website where users post pictures of themselves and have others comment on these pictures and follow their page.) These young ladies would post a link to their DailyBooths. And let me tell you they aren't the most beautiful pictures. I'm not saying that these DC members are not attractive, I'm saying their pictures are. I looked at a few, and this girl had pictures of cuts on her legs and arms. Not just one or two, her whole leg was full of blood and scars. This brings me into another topic; depression and drama. The question here is, why do people do such a thing to themselves?

Topic Examples Include:

"I am a mistake."

"Alright, [ name ] - are you happy? I'm killing myself."

"I have scissors right here."

"I bet you all are happy now."

"FML."

          I've seen topics like those numerous times. They fill up 50% of DC's posts. It's atrocious. What would their parents say? I have never seen a group of such depressed people. Even in real life. I don't want to hear all that "you don't know what really happens to people" junk. I know what happens to people. But the difference with the members of these clubs are that they are openly sharing this information with each other. It's not anonymous either if they are sharing all their personal information and pictures with each other. Maybe because some of these girls that have trouble fitting in in reality just resort to fitting in on stardoll, thinking it's a simpler task.
          Go ahead. Test my studies yourself. We often neglect this world of stardoll - the world that is still maturing into the real elite scene. There are millions of other stardoll users other than those who write on PSG, BFM, or MDM. They/we/I are yet to be discovered.
